Nell High Benson

DURHAM Mrs. Nell High Benson, 83, of Durham, died on Wednesday, February 25, 2015.
Mrs. Benson was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Erven High and Alberta Dillard Marks. She retired from GE as manager of the tool crib. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Hugh Benson and daughter, Phyllis Benson Tranchese Wiggins.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Benson of Emerald Isle; grandson, Luigi Tranchese and wife, Jennifer; half-brother, Tim High and grand-dog, Happy Feet.
Graveside services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Kenneth Forehand will officiate.
