Neda Russell Hendrickson

Neda Dare Russell Hendrickson, 100, of Durham passed away on June 20, 2025, at Hillcrest Convalescent Center. Mrs. Hendrickson was born on January 20, 1925, in Durham to the late Archibald and Pearl Foushee Russell.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hendrickson is predeceased by husband, Roy W. Hendrickson; brothers, A.C. Russell, Jr. Lamberth C. Russell, John L. Russell, Norman A. Russell; and her sister, Willmouth Russell Davis.

Mrs. Hendrickson is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lane “Pat” King of Durham; grandchildren, Foy G. King, III and Patricia D. King; great grandchildren, Dakota King, Daniel Lane King, and Hunter Lee King; great great grandson Carver.

Mrs. Hendrickson was a long-time member of Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church. She participated in the Sylvan Seniors group and at one time was the Secretary/Treasurer of the Fellowship group.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday June 25, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Reverend Kathie Wilkerson.
