Mr. P.W. Clayton

WAKE COUNTY- Mr. P.W. Clayton, 76, of Cary died on Sunday, October 21, 2012. He was the son of the late W.W. Clayton and Elma Blackwood Clayton. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a machinist for Liggett & Myers and was the owner and operator of Crystal Coast Transport, Inc. He was known affectionately as “ Blue Grand-Daddy “ to Austin and Dustin. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Clayton and Doyle Clayton, one sister, Doris Rose Waltman.He was survived by his wife, Louise S. Clayton, one son Michael Clayton and wife Beth of Cary; two grandchildren Austin and Dustin Clayton, one brother, Tommy Clayton of Durham; one sister, Betty Nichols of Durham. Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church in Cary. Pastor Keith Vaughn will officiate.
