Franklin Benjamin Davis

DURHAM- Mr. Franklin Benjamin Davis, 76, of Durham died on Thursday, July 11, 2013. He was the son of the late John Beverly Davis and Cora Lee Crump Davis. He retired from the N.C. National Guard.  He was a member and deacon of Evangel Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John Davis, Bubba Soda Davis and Alton Davis,  one sister, Rosa Olson, granddaughter, Christina Cayton.

He is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Dolores Davis, one son, David Davis (Sheryl) of Sanford; three daughters, Debra Jordan (John) of Wake Forest; Donna Cayton (Robert) of Durham; and Tammy Kauwe (David)  of  Durham; one sister, Frances Fieldman (Dan) of Jupiter, Fl; grandchildren, Nathan Bigelow, Isaac Cayton, Paul Cayton, Sarah Cayton, Anna Cayton, Brandon Davis, Hope Davis, Rachel Kauwe and Hannah Kauwe.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Assembly of God. Rev. J.B. Ellis will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Winchester, VA. on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
