Michael Avery “Mike” Hall

DURHAM Michael “Mike” Avery Hall passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015. He was the son of the late James Avery Hall. Mike retired after 30 years from Liggett-Myers as a fixer. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, was an avid Carolina basketball fan, and enjoyed watching drag racing.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Harris Hall of Butner; son, Jeff Hall, and wife, Julie of Clayton; daughter, Jonna Hall of Roxboro; brother, Randy Hall, and wife, Sherri of Stem; grandsons, Wade Hall and Wyatt Hall; 2 nieces: Rebeka Hall, Jennifer Tillman and husband, Jesse; and 2 great-nieces, Kalli and Chelsea.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm at Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the charity of one’s choice, and online condolences can be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
