Mary Judith Skinner

Mary Judith “Judy” Skinner, 69, of Henderson, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Maria Parham Hospital.

Born August 29, 1955, in Durham, NC.  Judy was the daughter of the late Dewey D. Skinner and Mildred Chambers Skinner.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Marshall L. Skinner and her sister, Linda Barrier.

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Wayne Skinner (wife Wanda) of Roxboro, NC, and Michael Skinner; her sister, Teresa Thomas of Maine; her nieces, April Skinner, Kimberly Wright, Angela Skinner, Jennifer Murphy, Christen Skinner, and Tracey Barrier; her nephews, Kevin Skinner, Alan Barrier, and Michael Skinner, Jr. and her loyal pet companion, Loki.

A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at a later date.

The family welcomes flowers but kindly requests pet-friendly potted plants for those wishing to honor Judy’s memory in a meaningful way.
