DURHAM- Mary Etta Freeman Guess, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018.
Mrs. Guess was born on April 26, 1946 in Durham, NC to the late Roy and Hazel Freeman. She was a graduate of Southern High School, class of 1964.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Thomas Kennedy Guess, daughter Lisa O’Quinn (Stephen), granddaughter, Nia Canady (Larry), grandson, Wesley O’Quinn, and great-grandson, Quinn Canady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy C and Hazel Freeman, and brothers, RC Freeman, John Freeman and Eugene “Gene” Freeman.
She was known as Mema by her grandchildren. She loved her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandson and will be remembered for her spunk and attitude by her grandchildren.
