Marsha Currin Dixon

OXFORD- Mrs. Marsha Currin Dixon, 72, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020.

Mrs. Dixon was born on February 14, 1948 to James and Amy Currin in Granville County, NC. Marsha worked for 3 years at Way Restaurant in Oxford and was a member of The Bible Believers Full Gospel Church. She enjoyed making jewelry and spending time with her family. Marsha will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Dixon is survived by her mother, Amy W. Currin; husband, Melvin Dixon; son, Henry Marshall Averette (Melissa) of Durham, NC; sister, Tanya Currin Faucette (Robert) of Oxford, NC; grandchildren, Blake Averette of Creedmoor, NC, Dana Averette of Wilton, NC, Destiny Whitfield of Butner, NC, Johnathan Whitfield of Durham, NC, and McKenzie Averette of Durham, NC; and great-grandchildren, Hailey Egitto, Layton Averette and Mason Egitto; nieces, Amanda and Courtney Nunnamaker.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Creedmoor Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Earnst Thompson.

Flowers are acceptable, or memorial contributions can be made to Bible Believers Full Gospel Church at 815 Hurley Road, Durham, NC 27704.

Hudson Funeral Home will be observing social distancing for the graveside service, and asks everyone in attendance to wear a mask at the cemetery.
