Margaret Elizabeth Carroll Green

CREEDMOOR: Margaret Elizabeth Carroll Green, 79 years old, passed away Friday, July 11, 2025.

Mrs. Green was born July 26,1945 to Leo and Oral Mae Carroll in Durham, NC.

She retired from the Honeywell Company (formerly Sperry) where she was a Coil Winder for airline cockpit wirings.

Margaret was a very humble woman who showed love to her family and special friends. A very compassionate and headstrong woman with a great sense of humor.

She enjoyed visiting the mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. She loved Elvis and Dolly Parton and could often be heard singing her version of their songs.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Jerry; Charlie; and sister Helen; as well as her son Carlton Bryant Green.

Margaret is survived by her husband Grover Carlton Green; her son Tracy “Trey” (Terresa); Grandchildren, Kyle Midyette (Brittany); Cameron Midyette (Hilary); Sierra Wooten (Kyle); Dakota Green; Colby Green; Great Grandchildren: Clara, Elise and River, her brother L.C. and many nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted to her faith in Jesus.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Hudson Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Hudson Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Durham. Chaplain Kim Walsh will officiate.
