Mae Price Murray

Mae Price Murray, 81, of Durham, North Carolina passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022.  She was born November 5, 1940 to the late Herman and Martha Price.  Mae was a longtime secretary at N&J Plumbing Supply.

Mrs. Murray is survived by her son, Jeff Murray (Angela); brother, Earl Price (Sue); sister, Bonnie Harris; grandchildren, Alicia Murray (Mike), Captain U.S. Army Stephen Murray and Nick McLamb (Lindsey); great grandson, Camden Glenn and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Nelson Murray; daughter, Regina Murray Willard and sisters, Helen Brantley and Ann Anderson.

Mrs. Murray was an easy spirit who loved to be around her family.  She enjoyed cooking and baking for them.  Mae also enjoyed her time shopping looking for things for the grandkids.  She was a great listener, providing an open ear and open arms.  Mrs. Murray will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sibling.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Hudson Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.  The Rev. Nick McLamb will officiate.

Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
