Linda Markham

Linda Bunn Markham, 83, of Durham, NC, passed away April 11, 2023, at Treyburn Health Care.

Mrs. Markham was born on February 13, 1940, to the late Willard Harold Bunn and Lillian Lockamy Bunn in Harnett County, N.C.

Linda was of the Baptist faith and attended Sherron Acres Baptist Church for many years. Mrs. Markham later attended Tri-City Baptist Church in Durham, NC. She loved spending time with her family, enjoyed shopping and eating out. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzle books, watching Lifetime and Hallmark movies.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Warner A. Markham and a sister, Ruby Narron.

She is survived by a son, Dwayne Markham of Butner, N.C.; daughter, Pam M. Kasel and husband, Mike of Durham, N.C.; grandsons, Justin Kasel and Joshua Kasel of Durham, N.C.; sister, Shirley Burns and husband, Robert of Holly Springs, N.C.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Allison. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
