Linda Martin Huffines

Linda Gail Martin Huffines passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, due to complications related to heart disease and diabetes. She was born in the Bethesda community of Durham, NC to Henry E. and Clarene M. Martin.  She attended Durham County Public Schools. In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is predeceased by her husband, Charles Huffines, and her brothers Richard and Gene Martin. 

She is survived by siblings:  Bob Martin (Linda), Carol Ray, Marion Laske (Lee), Pat Watson, Diane Newman (Rick Canup), and Tom Martin (Jeanette), as well as beloved aunt, Peggy Daniels, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

A memorial service is planned for 11:00 AM, Monday, April 3, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd Durham NC, and will be officiated by long-time family friend Reverend Hugh O’Shields.
