Les Dasch

DURHAM Mr. Leslie George “Les” Dasch, 67, of Durham, died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
Mr. Dasch was born in Baltimore, the son of the late Louis Gilbert Dasch and Mary Elizabeth Herlth Dasch. He had lived in Durham since 1970 and retired as manager of Geer 70 Storage. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 7 for over 40 years. He also worked with children from the Murdoch Developmental Center.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Carline Fox Dasch; son, Les Dasch, Jr. of Maryland; stepsons, Bob Thayer of Maryland, Chadd Hudson of Houston Texas and Courtland Hudson of Forest City, NC; step-daughter, Wendy Thayer of Roxboro; one brother, Larry Dasch of Maryland, one sister, Barbara Derrick of Pennsylvania and eleven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Marriotsville, Md. at a later date.
