Lawrence David Steele, Jr.

DURHAM Mr. Lawrence David Steele, Jr. 67, of Durham, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
Mr. Steele was born in Jackson County, Alabama. He was a self-employed mechanic who loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence D. Steele, Sr. and a brother, James Steele.
He is survived by his mother, Virginia Light Norbut; daughter, Michelle Coppedge (Chad) of Monroe; brother, Ernest Bass (Susan) of Waynesville, NC; sisters, Pat Moles and Gwendolyn Miller (Wayne) of Hillsborough; grandchildren, Emma, Walker and Max Coppedge; one niece, Stacy Moles, seven nephews, Forrest Steele, Robbie Moles, Cam and Trent Bass, AJ, Case and Jonathan Miller, and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial gifts may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
