Lawanda Gail Rigsbee

DURHAM- Ms. Lawanda Gail Rigsbee, 56, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021.

Ms. Rigsbee was born on August 9, 1964 to Joyce Ann Switzer in Durham, NC. Lawanda enjoyed crafting and coloring, doing puzzles and crossword puzzle. She loved going shopping. Lawanda was a caring woman who enjoyed spending her spare time volunteering. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.

Ms. Rigsbee is survived by her son, Rodney Rigsbee; daughter, Rachel Rigsbee; brother, Robbie Lee Switzer; grandchildren, Logan Rigsbee, Kaysen Chapman, Jaxon Rigsbee, and Lucas Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Officiating will be Kim Walsh.
