Laura Guillory McCullough

Laura Guillory McCullough, 73, of Durham passed away on October 11, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. McCullough was born on February 15, 1952, in Hampton, South Carolina to the late George Herman and Reba Webb Guillory.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McCullough is predeceased by her sister, Janet Keels.

She is survived by her husband Tom McCullough; son, Thomas O. McCullough II and wife Cindy of Fairfax, Virginia; daughter, Michele M. White and husband Heath of Bahama, North Carolina; grandchildren, Travis White and wife Tori, Meghan Proctor and husband Colby, Zac McCullough. Sean McCullough, Ethan McCullough , Luke Dunlay, Remi Dunlay; great grandchildren, Artis White and Cohen Proctor.

Laura was a very generous, loving, and caring person. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Laura loved children and dedicated much of her life to helping them learn and grow. She served as a Teacher’s Assistant at Bethesda Elementary School and later at Bethesda Christian Academy. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially during holidays and special gatherings. She always found joy in helping others. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

In honoring Laura’s wishes, no services are planned.
