Larry Lee Rigsbee

DURHAM Mr. Larry Lee Rigsbee, 66, of 628 Patterson Road, died on Thursday, December 06, 2012.Mr. Rigsbee was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Alvis Rigsbee, Sr. and Marie Kirby Rigsbee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed with Brenntag Southeast as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Parton Rigsbee; son, Larry Randall Rigsbee and three brothers, Jesse Wallace McFarland, William Edward Rigsbee and Thomas Rigsbee. He is survived by his son, William Carmack of Durham; four daughters, Lillian Carmack of Durham, Rebecca Jones of Mechanicsville, Va., Kristie Santos and Kathy Carmack both of Timberlake; step-daughter, Donna Keith of Kentucky; one brother, Alvis Rigsbee Jr. of Durham and five grandchildren.Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Markham Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
