Kenneth Wade Ellis, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Wade Ellis, Sr., 64 of Durham, passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018.Mr. Ellis was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Claiborne Paul Ellis and Mary Elizabeth Dixon Ellis. He was a retired Electrician. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church. He had his Pilots license and enjoyed playing golf.He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Allen Ellis; two sons, Kenneth Ellis, Jr. and Brian Daniel Ellis and wife, Kristy; two brothers, Larry Edward Ellis and Timothy Ellis and wife, Cindy; sister, Vickie Lewis and husband, Rodney; grandchildren, Brandon and McKenna Ellis, Bailey Apple; great-granddaughter, Sophia Apple; best friend, Curtis and several more friends.The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
