Kellie O'Shields Webster

A dearly loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Kellie Maureen O’Shields Webster, 51, passed away on March 27, 2026. She has now seen her Savior face to face and is currently rejoicing in His presence.

She was born in Raleigh, NC on November 20, 1974, to Elford “Hugh” O’Shields and the late Bettie Jones O’Shields and grew up in Durham, NC. In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of 26 years Bryan David Webster; sons Micah, Jacob, and Andrew Webster; daughter, Rachel Webster; brother, Robert O’Shields; sister, Kyla O’Shields Phipps and husband Brad; and several nieces and nephews.

During her life, she was known for many qualities, but foremost among them was her faithful service to the Lord and her neighbors. She spent her life investing in people by discipling, teaching, and loving on others wherever she found herself, from Asia to the Americas. She was truly servant-hearted in all she did. Hospitality characterized her ministry, and her home was always open to others as a place for fellowship and connection.

Kellie was also devoted to her loved ones. She loved and supported her family right up to the end, protecting them and thoroughly handling logistics. Kellie was a fighter. Tenacious and determined, she never let cancer define her life. Rather, she leaned ever more on the Rock of her salvation, leaving behind a powerful testimony. She ran the race with endurance and crossed the finish line strong, where she received her eternal reward.

The visitation and service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church (1104 Milton Road, Durham, NC 27712). The visitation will start at 4:00 pm with the celebration of life service starting at 6:00 pm. The service will be live streamed on the church’s Youtube channel.

Officiating will be Reverend Dr. Marc Francis and Reverend Bryan Webster.

Pallbearers will be Micah Webster, Jacob Webster, Andrew Webster, Brad Phipps, Zachary Phipps, and Brock Webster. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert O’Shields and Barlowe Webster.
