Mrs. Kathy Louise Arnold, 54 of Durham, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.  Kathy was born February 20, 1972 to the late Johnnie David Ray and Helen Louise Ray in Durham, NC. 

In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Arnold and sister, Teresa Lopez.

Mrs. Arnold enjoyed traveling to the beach, going out shopping, going out to eat, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. 

Kathy loved animals, listening to classic rock and country, and making her family laugh. Mrs. Arnold will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who will be deeply missed and remembered by everyone who had been blessed to have known her. 

She is survived by her three children, Andrew Lee Arnold, Hannah Nicole Arnold, and Johnnie Ray Arnold; sisters, Gail Murray and Brenda Sue Wallace; nephews, Joseph Lopez and Tony Schlapak; grandchildren, Laylani Grace Arnold and Andrew Lee Arnold Jr.; fur baby, Bailey Mae Arnold; and many other family and friends.

There are no services planned at this time.
