Katherine Mulchi Miller

CREEDMOOR Mrs. Katherine Lynn Mulchi Miller, 58, of Creedmoor, died on Monday, December 12, 2016, after a lifetime struggle of health complications due to a car accident.
Mrs. Miller was born in Granville County, the daughter of the late Willis Linwood Mulchi and Gwendolyn Satterfield Mulchi. She attended school at Lakeview special education. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loveable person who was a big flirt; enjoyed life and had many friends and a special lifetime friend, Glen Rogers. She loved church, loved to drink coffee and eat big mac sandwiches; play Yahtzee and cards; watch soap operas, LMN Channel and lived for music. She was injured in a car accident in 1968 at age 9 and was pronounced dead several times and in a coma for 2 years. People knew her as a miracle and she was an Angel in everyone’s eyes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Linwood Douglas Mulchi and sisters, Brenda Ann Ferrell and Geraldine Rebecca Wagner.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Miller (Matt); brother, Donald Mulchi; sisters, Betty Mulchi Durham and Carrie Lee Dunn; grandchildren, Jacob George and Layton Brown-Juarez; nieces, Bobbie Bryant (Drew), Daisy Roberson; nephew, Justin Durham (Brittany) and many other nieces and nephews; cousins and friends and father of her children, Allen Miller.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hewett and Chaplain Mike Shannon will officiate. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Betty Mulchi.
