Julia Faye Cashion Roberts

 Durham- Mrs. Julia Faye Roberts, 79, passed away, June 10, 2023, at Hock Family Pavilion.

Mrs. Roberts was born November 01, 1943, to the late David Larken Cashion and Thelma Ida Williams Cashion in Durham, NC.

Julia Roberts attained her Bachelors degree at Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. and later became a Guardian in Children Welfare. Mrs. Roberts volunteered in taking care of abused children for over twenty years, mostly in Charleston, S.C. Julia was also active in the Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue. For many years, she was very involved in the Democratic Party. Mrs. Roberts enjoyed spending time in her garden as she was a Master Gardener. She will be remembered as a loving wife mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband of 62 years, Worth D. Roberts, III; son, David Roberts (Mark Hough) and Chris Roberts; daughter, Kim Goodson (Scott); grandchildren; Wesley Goodson, Thrace Goodson; great- granddaughters, Sara, Evie, Parker and Rhyss; sister, Polly Marguardt (Eddie) and many loving family members and friends.
