Joseph Russell Waters

STEM- Mr. Joseph Russell Waters, 84, passed away on August 3, 2021.

Mr. Waters was born March 25, 1937 to the late Sylvia Tackett in Charleston, WV. Joe served in the US Navy from 1954-1958. He graduated from St. Albans High School in 1954 and spent his years of employment working on computers. He loved flying, cars, and guns. Joe loved to entertain and always knew how to have fun no matter who he was with. He will be missed by many.

Joe is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lou Waters; two sons, Mark Waters and Bryan Waters; grandson, Mark Waters Jr.; great granddaughter, Chloe Waters; sister, Nancy Edens; and brother, Donald Lemaster.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 11, 2021, with a visitation held one hour prior at 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Stem Ruritan Club 3595 Old NC 75, Stem, NC 27581.
