Jordan Nathan Jones, 23, of Durham, N.C, passed away in a car accident on January 27th, 2026. To know Jordan was to Love him. He lived in moments that mattered. He found meaning in worlds both real and imagined—whether exploring virtual landscapes through video games, standing barefoot at the edge of the ocean, or quietly watching the sun sink into the horizon. He understood beauty in stillness and escape, and he carried a depth that didn’t always need words. His spirit was gentle, his presence grounding, and his love unwavering. Though his time with us was far too short, the imprint he left is permanent. He will be found in every sunset, every wave, and every memory held close by those who loved him.

Jordan is survived by his sisters, Amber Jones, Tiffany Jones and Kalin Jones. His brothers, Travis Jones and Michael Jones, as well as his sister-in-law Danielle Aldrich and brother-in-law, Steven Shockley. He is also survived by his two younger nephews, Gatlin Guthrie and Elliot Jones-Shockley. Jordan is preceded in death by his Mom, Tessa Jones and "Diddy" Ray Perry Guthrie Jr.

Jordan will be greatly missed.
