Jonathan Lynn Blancett

Jonathan Lynn Blancett, 43, of Durham, NC, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Born on March 29, 1981, in Wake County, NC, Jonathan was the beloved son of Carolyn Blancett, who survives him, and the late John Chavis.

Jonathan is survived by his son, Brandon Minor, and daughter, Janiya Blancett, both of Durham, NC. He is also survived by his brother, Jason Blancett, and his wife, Tesha, of Durham, NC; nephew, Mark Johnson; and nieces, Kennedy Blancett and Kesha Johnson.

Jonathan will be remembered for his kind heart and devotion to his family.

A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday January 7, 2024, at Hudson Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Michael Mitchell, Harvey Leathers, Anthony Harris, Kite Taylor, Sean Davis and Damien Slade.
