Jimmy Dean McFalls

OXFORD- Mr. Jimmy Dean McFalls, 77, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019.
Mr. McFalls was born on February 21, 1942 to Rufus and Nellie McFalls in Spruce Pine, NC. Jimmy retired as a telephone splicing subcontractor for Meb-Tel Communications. He loved racing and working on cars. Most importantly he loved his family.
Mr. McFalls was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Nellie McFalls; wife, Joyce McFalls; brother, Jack McFalls; and sisters, Ruth Ollis and Agnes Sparks. He is survived by his son, Jeremy McFalls (Julie) of Oxford, NC; daughter, Jennifer McFalls of Durham, NC; brothers, J.R. McFalls of Durham, NC, and Garland McFalls of Durham, NC (Paulette); sister, Gladys P. McFalls of Spruce Pine, NC; grandchildren, Ashley Franklin, LaKota Franklin, Jansen McFalls, and Jordan McFalls.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Tim Wheeler. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
