Jerry Lee McNeely

Jerry Lee McNeely, 67, of Burlington, North Carolina and formerly of Durham, North Carolina passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1959 in Durham, North Carolina to the late Marvin and Maxine McNeely.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Linda J. Medina and Jan Hinojosa.

Growing up Jerry was the “Big Protective Brother” always looking after his younger sisters. He was also known to be a Momma’s Boy and was always famous for drinking his favorite - Momma’s Iced Tea by the gallons.

Jerry loved his jeans, t-shirts and country boots and enjoyed country music especially Hank Williams, Jr. Jerry in his younger years was a man willing to help everyone.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd., Durham, NC 27703. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Durham, NC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 10:00 A.M.
