Jerry Gann

Jerry Ulman Gann, 84, of Durham passed away on November 7, 2025, at Duke University Hospital. Mr. Gann was born on October 24, 1941, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Hubert Ulman and Sallie Walton Gann.

He is survived by his son, Mark Gann of Durham and a daughter Susan Gann Wilson and husband Les also of Durham; grandchildren, Kara Wilson (Shane Berg) and Christopher Wilson (Rachel Arsenault).

Mr. Gann deeply loved his family. He devoted most of his life to the beverage industry, working for both the Dr. Pepper Bottling Company and the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Durham. He enjoyed spending time fishing at local lakes and ponds, tending to his yard, and took great pride in his ability to grow just about anything.

The family requested that flowers be omitted.

A private service will be held.
