James Norman Poole, Jr.

James Norman Poole, Jr. 58, of Stem, NC, passed away at his home on January 27, 2026. Mr. Poole was born June 22, 1967, to the late James Norman Poole, Sr. and Betty Doris Miller Poole.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife of 22 years, Rene’ Devore Poole; sons, Josh Poole of Angier, NC and Matt Poole and wife Alicia and their sons Julian and Waylon, and Brayden Allen of Lake Waccamaw, SC; step-son, Kristopher James and wife Ashley of Creedmoor, NC; step-daughter Kristen James of Wake Forest, NC; sisters, Michelle Poole of Colorado and Tina Grad of Raleigh, NC; and pet companion “Sugar Baby”.

Mr. Poole was employed with Currin Construction as a Foreman for many years. He enjoyed feeding deer in his yard.
