James Lewis Parrish

PARRISHDURHAM Mr. James “Lewis” Parrish, 94, of Durham, died on Monday, March 28, 2011. Mr. Parrish was born in Alamance County to the late William Ambrose Parrish and Hattie Wilkins Parrish. He retired after 50 years from Muirhead Construction as a Carpenter. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellington Parrish and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Forehand. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
