James Lewis Carey

GRANVILLE Mr. James Lewis Carey, 48, of 1503 Rainbow Circle in Oxford, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013.Mr. Carey was born in Durham but was a resident of Oxford. He was self-employed Truck Driver. He is survived by his father, Tyrone Carey of Stem and his mother, Mary Ann Zeits of Oxford, one son, James Tyler Spillman of Florida and two brothers, Tracy Carey of Stem and Charlie Carey of Alderson, W. Va. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Blomberg will officiate. Pallbearers will be Needham Smith, Charlie Carey, David Carey, Tracy Carey, Jr., Jason Warren and Craig Womack.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
