James Allen McCoy

DURHAM Mr. James Allen McCoy, 63, of Durham, died on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
Mr. McCoy was born in Chatham County, the son of the late James Arthur McCoy and Dorothy Ann Ausley Plummer. He retired from Bud Piper Roofing Company. He enjoyed spending time doing search puzzle books. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Susan Gilchrist; step-mother, Ruby McCoy; siblings, Sandy, Patsy and Michael.
He is survived by his sister, Debra Anne McCoy of Rougemont.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hewett will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
