DURHAM Mr. Jake McCracken Smith, Jr. 86, of Durham, died on Monday, October 27, 2014.
Mr. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Jake McCracken Smith, Sr. and Buren Sparrow Smith.
He is survived by his 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 3 grandchildren by marriage and 2 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. There are no services planned at this time.
