Jacquelin George

FUQUAY-VARINA- Mrs. Jacquelin Wilkins George, 70, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at The Laurels at Forest Glen.
Mrs. George was born December 9, 1948 to the late Johnnie and Jo Marie Wilkins in Durham, NC. She loved reading books on mysteries, politics and action and she always enjoyed a good margarita. Mrs. George was proud of her Native American heritage, SE Cherokee Confederacy. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her.
Mrs. George is preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Jo Marie Wilkins; sisters, Karen “Cookie” and Sharon Hardimon.
Mrs. George is survived by her husband, Phillip George; sons, Terry Morgan (Lisa); step sons, Phillip Edd George, Jr. (Kelly), James C. George (Nina); brothers, Efland Brant “Joe” Wilkins (Keri), Randy Wilkins (Roxy), Rusty Wilkins (Barbara); grandchildren, Jessica Bolyard, Chelsea Mellott, Nathan Morgan, Kimberly George, James Lee Allen George, Kevin Lyn George, Chloe Marie George and Haley George; great-granddaughter, Emilyn Bolyard.
Private services will be held at a later date.
