Jacob Henry Elliott

DURHAM Mr. Jacob Henry Elliott, 78, of Durham, died on Tuesday, November 06, 2012.Mr. Elliott was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Jacob Kirby Elliott and Nannie Belle Yeargan Elliott. He was a U. S. Army veteran and retired after 33 years from Pilot Freight as a Mechanic. He attended Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Elliott.He is survived by his brother, James K. Elliott of Durham; sister, Dorothy E. Baker of Durham and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Ernest Ferrell.The family will receive friends on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
