Harold Stuart Pollard

DURHAM Mr. Harold Stuart Pollard, 81, of Durham, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
Mr. Pollard was born in Farmville, N.C., the son of the late James Theron Pollard and Ollie Belle Eastwood Pollard. He owned and operated Ace Pump Service. Mr. Pollard was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Amie Walker and Katherine Joyce Burke both of Durham; three grandchildren, Katelynn Faye Walker, Kelsey Mishelle Walker, Krystal Butts; three great-grandchildren and a special girlfriend, LaVerne Burch.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Greg Allison and Rev. Jimmy Hall will officiate. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences may be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
