H. Ronnie O’Briant

HILLSBOROUGH- Mr. H. Ronnie O’Briant, 77, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.

Mr. O’Briant was born June 5, 1945 to the late Luther and Mary O’Briant in Durham, NC. He was a police officer with the Durham Police Department and retired as a deputy sheriff with the Durham County Sheriffs Department. Throughout his life, Mr. O’Briant was very passionate about serving the community.

In addition to his parents, Mr. O’Briant is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Yvonne O’Briant.

Mr. O’Briant is survived by his son, Ronald O’Briant (Tanya) of Myrtle Beach; grandchildren, Zackary O’Briant and Katelyn O’Briant.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m, Friday, October 28, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Hugh O’Shields.
