Garland Wayne Jernigan

CREEDMOOR- Mr. Garland Wayne Jernigan, 77, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021.

Mr. Jernigan was born on June 13, 1943 to Johnnie and Mildred Jernigan in Ahoskie, NC. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and a 32^nd Scottish Rite Mason. Wayne will be remembered as a loving husband of 53 years, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Mr. Jernigan was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Mildred Jernigan, and his brother, Randolph “Randy” Jernigan.

Mr. Jernigan is survived by his wife, Susan Faye Jernigan of Creedmoor, NC; son, John Garland Jernigan, II. (Cynthia) of Wake Forest, NC; daughter, Michelle Lynn Jernigan of Raleigh, NC; sister, Elaine Stewart of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Alyssa Jernigan and Dylan Jernigan both of Wake Forest, NC; many nieces, and other family members.

No services are planned at this time.
