Furman Franklin, Jr.

DURHAM- Mr. Furman Frank “Pops” Franklin, Jr., 69, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

Mr. Franklin was born on June 26, 1951 to Furman and Ruby Franklin in Wake County, NC. He enjoyed working, fishing, country music, and his truck. Furman loved his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all blessed to have known him.

Mr. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Furman and Ruby Franklin, and his sister, Sandra Wood. He is survived by his sons, Anthony Franklin of Providence, NC, and Christopher Franklin of Burlington, NC; brothers, Harold Franklin (Jane) of Ohio, and Tommy Franklin of Durham, NC; sisters, Sue Baldwin of Ohio, and Michelle Riley (Tommy) of Stem, NC; and grandchildren, Gage Franklin, Austin Franklin, and Haley Franklin.
