Fannie Mae Goodwin

Fannie Mae Goodwin, 92, of Durham, North Carolina peacefully passed on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.  She was born December 8, 1930, in Durham, N.C. to the late Joseph and Mary Boothe.

Mrs. Goodwin has proudly spent her life in Durham.  She has been a member of Gorman Baptist Church for over 50 years.  Fannie Mae worked a number of years for Chick-Fil-A in South Square.

Fannie Mae is preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Goodwin; her parents; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by her son, Mike Goodwin (Teresa); grandson, Keith Goodwin (Amber); great granddaughter, Ryleigh Goodwin and several loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hudson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 2107 Liberty St., Durham, NC 27703.  Pastor Craig Phelps will officiate.
