Eva Walker Fisher

Mrs. Eva Walker Fisher, 79, passed away suddenly on May 14, 2024, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. 

Mrs. Fisher was born to the late Hubert Linwood and Tempie Manning Walker in Nash County, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Fisher; granddaughter, Lauren Marie Long; brothers, Linwood Walker, Jr., and Garland Walker.

Eva is survived by her daughter; LeAnne Crayton Lindsay and husband Tippy of Roxboro; heart son, Wayne Glenn (Mary Beth); grandchild, Marsha Lindsay Cousins (J.C.); great grandchildren, Wyatt, and Dillon Cousins; sister-in-law, Jean Walker.

Eva retired from Southland Life Insurance Company after over 15 years. She graduated from Durham High School in 1963. She was member of Berry’s Grove Baptist Church in Timberlake, NC, and the Eastern Star. When Eva was able, she enjoyed working in her yard  and working with flowers.

A visitation will be held Monday May 20, 2024, from 1 pm. to 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Craig Willingham.

Interment will at South Granville Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are acceptable.
