Eunice Virginia Cook

Eunice Virginia Cook, 92, passed away peacefully, January 23, 2024, at Hock Family Pavilion.

Mrs. Cook was born on May 3, 1931, to (the late) Ella Mangum and Decatur Clemmie Moses in Granville County, North Carolina. 

Mrs. Eunice Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Cook; five brothers; six sisters; grandchildren, Lauren Carden, Lori Davie, and Billy Davie. 

Mrs. Cook is survived by her daughters, Susan Carden (Sammy), Barbara Reaves, Brenda Davie, and Cheryl Cox; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.  

Eunice Cook was a lifetime resident of Granville and Durham counties. Eunice worked at Northern Telecom programing computer chips for 11 years. Mrs. Cook was of the Baptist Faith. She loved fishing and visiting with her brothers and sisters. She loved sewing costumes for her granddaughter. Mrs. Cook loved to crochet and a big bowl of Ice cream from time to time. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation from 1-2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home 

Pallbearers will be Sammy Carden, Bryant O’Briant, Mark Shepherd, Chris Davie and Joey Neighbours. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
