Elsie Mae Goss

DURHAM- Mrs. Elsie Mae Goss, 100, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Mrs. Goss was born on August 14, 1920 to James and Nina Jones in Durham, NC. She was a member of Grove Park Chapel and enjoyed gardening. Elsie loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and to take trips with her sister. She will be lovingly remembered by all blessed to have known her.

Mrs. Goss was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nina Jones; her husband, Johnny Goss; and her sister, Doris Jones Hatley.

Mrs. Goss is survived by her son, Julius Goss (Donna); daughters, Pamela Chilton, Sylvia Beck, and Nina Smith; 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hock Family Pavilion at 4321 Medical Park Dr. #101, Durham, NC 27704.

A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
