DURHAM Mr. Elmore Washington Honeycutt, Jr., 84, of Durham, died on Thursday, January 11, 2018.Mr. Honeycutt was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Elmore Washington Honeycutt Sr. and Pearl Honeycutt. He retired from R. L. Dressers Inc. as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fisher Honeycutt; brother, Billy Honeycutt and sister, Betty Louise Honeycutt Hall.He is survived by his children, Martin “Marty” Honeycutt, Keith Honeycutt, Leslie Honeycutt and Tracy Honeycutt; brother, Bobby Honeycutt; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and other loving family members.A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.Flowers are acceptable.
