Dorothy Green Pendergraft

DURHAM- Mrs. Dorothy Green Pendergraft, 89, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019.
Mrs. Pendergraft was born July 12, 1930 to the late James and Margaret Green in Durham, NC. She was a machine operator at American Tobacco. Mrs. Pendergraft loved her family dearly and loved to cook for them. She was a hard worker and loved to help others.
Mrs. Pendergraft is survived by her sons, Lynn Carroll Jr. of Hickory, NC, Mike Carroll (Mary) of Connecticut, Tim Carroll (JoAnn) of Roanoke Rapids, NC; daughters, Barbara Addison of Durham, NC, Kathy Buchanan (Steve) of Durham, NC; brother, James Green of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Harrington Carroll of Hickory, NC, Byron Carroll (Christine) of Tabor City, NC, Gene Hobbs of Stem, NC, Michelle Eaton of Texas, Ross Carroll (Pam) of Maryland, Matt Carroll of Colorado; several great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 27, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Earl Echols. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends and family will be received at Barbara Addison’s house.
