DURHAM Mrs. Dorothy Mae Clark Jones, 84, of Durham, died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012.Mrs. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Jessie Charles Clark and Iola J. Emory Clark. She retired after 40 years with Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. She was a member of Fletcher’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Jones, brother, Clarence Clark and a sister, Margie Harris.She is survived by her daughter, Debra D. Jones; one son; brother, Donnie Clark; sister, Lillian Matthews; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Hugh O’Shields. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable.
