Don Elwood Boone

DURHAM Mr. Don Elwood Boone, 62, of Durham, died on Friday, March 23, 2012.Mr. Boone was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late William Haywood Boone and Alma Buchanan Boone. He retired from the RDU Airport where he worked as an Ambassador for Customer Service. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Durham on Denfield Ave. He is survived by his two brothers, Charles B. Boone and Jerry L. Boone; two sister, Barbara B. Pearsall and Peggy B. Fowler.Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m., before the service at Hudson Funeral Home.
