Dolores Chapman Davis

Mrs. Dolores Chapman Davis, 81 of Durham, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 26, 1941, to the late Mabel Ruth Ashley and Charles Chapman, who preceded her in death. Dolores was a longtime member and Sunday School Teacher at Evangel Assembly of God in Durham, which she devoted her life to.

In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin B. Davis.

Dolores is survived by a son, David Andrew Davis; daughters, Debra Jordan, Donna Cayton (Robert) and Tammy Kauwe (David); 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Bigelow, Paul Cayton, Robert Cayton, Skip Williams, Dave Kauwe.

A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Hudson Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Evangel Assembly of God. Officiating will be Pastor David Santiago and Pastor Gerald Bohler. Burial will be at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Winchester, VA on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gerald Bohler officiating.
