Delores Page Emory

DURHAM- Mrs. Delores “Lois” Page Emory, 91, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Duke University Hospital.

Mrs. Emory was born on August 27, 1929 to Arthur and Estelle Page in Durham, NC. She was an active member of Plainview Baptist Church. For over 40 years Lois worked with her husband at their family business, Bill’s Iron Shop Inc. She loved to travel with Christian Tours and take trips to the beach. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Emory was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie V. Emory, Jr. (Bill); brother, Howard Page; and sisters, Bonnie Sorrell and Margie Page.

Mrs. Emory is survived by her sons, Billy Emory (Donna) and Larry Emory, both of Durham, NC; grandchildren, Daniel Emory (Morgan) and Janet Emory; and great-grandson, Riggsbee Emory.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Plainview Baptist Church. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Doug Nalley. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
