DURHAM- Mrs. Deborah Sue Tolley Wiggins, 68, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on July 10, 1951 to Edward and Mary Tolley at Watts Hospital in Durham, NC. Deborah retired from GlaxoSmithKline. She was a long-time leader in Girl Scouts and took tremendous pride in leading and teaching the girls in scouts. She loved being a grandmother to Mackenzie and Tyler and cherished the time she spent with them over the years. She played a pivotal role in organizing and ensuring the Champion family gatherings continued. Spending time with her family brought her great joy and happiness.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt, great aunt, grandmother and friend to many.

Mrs. Wiggins was preceded in death by her father, Ed Tolley, and her husband of 46 years, Joe Wiggins. She is survived by her mother, Mary Tolley; daughter, Brandy Queen (Darrell); sister, Marsha Tolley; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Tyler Queen; niece, Gayle Passmore (Frank); great niece, Jessica Price (Jeremy and son Easton) great nephews, Grayson and Jayden Paynter and other loving family members.

A private graveside service will be held at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association at 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30328.
